Privacy policy
This site collects the minimum required to answer a contact form and to see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and shares nothing with third parties for marketing.

What is collected
Contact form submissions
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional company or firm name, and a description of your project. Submitting it sends that information by email to clint@parkasoftware.com. It is not written to a database and it is not added to a mailing list. The email is retained in ordinary business correspondence for as long as it is useful, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Spam prevention
To stop automated submissions, the site records the IP address of anyone who submits the form and how long the form was open before submission. This is held in server memory only, is used to rate-limit submissions, and is discarded when the application restarts. It is never associated with a person or used for any other purpose.
Analytics
Page views are measured with Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect or store personal data. It reports aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites and country. It does not build a profile of you, does not track you across other websites, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing identifying is collected. Plausible publishes its own data policy.
Server logs
The web server keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, timestamps and requested URLs. These are used for diagnosing errors and security problems, and nothing else.
What is not collected
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising or retargeting pixels, including those from Google, Meta or LinkedIn. It does not sell, rent or trade any information, and it does not share contact form contents with anyone outside Parka Software.
Client work
Information handled during a client engagement is governed by the contract and any confidentiality or business associate agreement covering that engagement, not by this policy. Engagements involving protected health information or privileged legal material operate under terms agreed in writing before the work begins.
Your requests
To ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, email clint@parkasoftware.com. Requests are handled directly, by the person who runs the company.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no version history; the current page is the current policy.
