Through a meticulous integration of data, we helped create a single repository that not only powers this calculator but also serves as a valuable resource to utilize in other applications and research initiatives.
The functionality of the Liver Waiting List Outcomes Calculator revolves around capturing a snapshot of each transplant program’s waiting list. The data visualizations are formatted around sophisticated algorithms to analyze this data and determine the fate of each candidate over the subsequent year, including at crucial intervals of 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, and 365 days.
To ensure accuracy and reliability, we collaborated closely their team of developers, researchers, and bio-statisticians to source data from sources.
