The United States Renal Data System Annual Data Report is used to describe the epidemiology of kidney disease in the U.S. in support of public health, research, and policy initiatives to improve the care of individuals with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and end-stage renal disease.
Our team worked alongside doctors, bio-statisticians, and data analysts to source data from multiple PDF, CSV, and text file sources, making the data available in digital format for the first time. Previous releases were distributed in static documents, therefore to enhance the user experience, we created interactive data visualizations to provide a centralized and easy-to-understand overview of the history of the data.
The application is a robust CMS platform that allows the client to process and display data without the need for further software development in future versions of the ADR. On top of many, one of our goals is to develop solutions once so that client’s like us can run their business without needing to call us every year. This is what we’ve done with the USRDS ADR. This reusable software product is the result of our collaboration with experts and our commitment to delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
We are proud to have been part of this transformation and to have delivered a robust product that supports and enhances the core function of the ADR.
